*I was looking for some cute pair of "Ganesha and Lakshmi ji" and I saw a lady selling pairs of the same with lots of diyas and candles.
I went to her. I can see her smiling from her veil. Her eyes are enough expressing to show her happiness.
I asked, "Aunty ji ye pair kitne ka hai...?"
She replied with pointing the pairs ," Beta ye 50 ke hai, or wo 40 ka hai, diye bhi hai or bade diye 10 ke hai".
I said ," are nahi nahi aunty sirf ganesh lakshmi ji chahiye".
"Haan haaan beta bolo konse pasand aaye", She asked.
"Ye wale de dijiye aunty ji", I replied with pointing the cutest pair there.
Aur Haan ek wo bda diya bhi de dijiye, I added.
"Bete or kuchh", She asked.
"Nahi aunty ji.. bas", I said to end the conversation.
I just took out my phone from my pocket and asked her for a pic of her stall and I clicked one with her and showed her.
"Haan, beta bahut achhi photu aayi", She said with a smiling face.
"Are aunty ji bahut achhe diye hai bohot pyare Lakshmi Ganesh ji hai" , I said.
"Haan bete mehnat ta laagye hai, subh subh tension me bina khana khaye aaja hu kahi bikri na ho jae, kahi gaahak na chle jae, aur gaahak bhi aave hai ar tees lgalo ji , bees lgalo ji kiye ja hai, eeb haamne apne..." she stoped and stretched her hand to show me the bigger idols. But it was clear that she's feeling awkward.
"Are aunty ji hum logon ki diwali to aap hi se hai, bina diyon k, bina Lakshmi Ganesh ji ke diwali thori hoti hai", I said reflecting hopes in my words.
"Haan bete, mhari diwali bhi aapse hi hoti h, hmne bhi apne gharaan mein bhi diwali manaani, do chaar peese aajan mhari bhi diwali man ja", she said in a meek way.
"Ji aunty ji, Happy Diwali", I said.
"Happy diwali beta, Happy diwali, khush raho", She said with a smiling face.

Let's say no to crackers and bargaining to street vendors but a big YES to 'Mitti ke diye' to make someone's Diwali more special ❤️
